How it works

From first enquiry to cleared goods

Tell us what you're moving and where. We take it from there.
  1. Step 1: Tell us about the shipment

Send us the commodity, origin, destination and route using the enquiry form or by phone.

  2. Step 2: We confirm the documents

We set out the exact document set your goods need, including any health, SPS or origin paperwork.

  3. Step 3: We prepare and submit

Declarations, pre-notifications and transit documents are lodged accurately and on time.

  4. Step 4: We keep you updated

Proactive communication with you, your haulier and the authorities until the goods are released.

Before your goods move

Key things to settle before a shipment

Getting these right at the start prevents most delays, unexpected charges and compliance issues.
  • Agree the Incoterm and named place

The delivery term decides who handles export and import clearance, and it affects the customs value declared. “DAP Dublin Port” is clearer than “DAP Ireland”.

    Incoterms guide
  • Confirm the commodity code

The HS code sets the duty rate and any controls. It depends on the product’s nature, composition, function and packaging, so a professional review is worthwhile.

    Commodity code FAQ
  • Know who is importer and exporter of record

Establish who holds the EORI and VAT registrations, who appoints the customs broker, and who pays duty, import VAT and inspection fees.

    Choosing the right Incoterm
  • Choose direct or indirect representation

Under direct representation you stay legally responsible for the declaration. Under indirect representation we share joint liability with you.

    Representation FAQ
  • Prepare the core documents

At minimum a commercial invoice, packing list and transport document, plus any licences, certificates of origin or health and SPS documents your goods need.

    Documents FAQ
  • Check for extra regulatory controls

Food, plants and fish face SPS controls. Some goods are also affected by CBAM (steel, aluminium, cement, fertilisers, hydrogen) or the EUDR.
